Qantas has unveiled major Flight Sales to North and South America, with return fares starting at just $999. Thousands of discounted seats are available from most Australian capital cities to Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, San Francisco, Vancouver, Santiago, and Honolulu.

The sale includes Qantas’ first-ever flight from Melbourne to Hawaii, launching May 1. LA Tourism has also welcomed the deal, encouraging Aussies to visit despite recent wildfires. The sale ends at 11:59 PM on Wednesday, March 26, for travel between April 14, 2025, and January 29, 2026, with blackout periods.

Virgin Australia has dropped a massive sale across its entire domestic and international network, offering one million fares starting at just $45 one-way. The sale runs until 11:59 PM on Wednesday, March 26, for travel between April 30, 2025, and February 11, 2026.

Virgin Australia Executive Libby Minogue noted a growing trend of Aussies prioritizing holidays for mental well-being, citing a 17% increase in Velocity members using points for flight redemptions. The airline expects ‘JOMO’ (the Joy of Missing Out) to be a major travel trend in 2025, with more travellers seeking secluded getaways.
Jetstar Joins the Sale with Ultra-Low Fares

Jetstar has also launched a sale for its members, featuring domestic fares as low as $33 one-way from Sydney to Ballina Byron and one-way flights from Melbourne to Darwin from $160. These deals apply to travel in early 2026, with the sale ending at 11:59 AM on Friday, March 21.
