Drake Cancels Remaining Australian Tour – ‘Scheduling Conflict’ or Something More?

Drake has officially cancelled the remaining dates of his Australian tour, citing a “scheduling conflict.” The rapper was set to return to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on March 4 before wrapping up his tour at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on March 7.
A spokesperson confirmed as per Daily Mail the cancellation, stating, “We are actively working on rescheduling these dates and adding additional shows. All tickets for the affected concerts will remain valid for the new dates. Refunds will be available for those who prefer, but since the shows were sold out, any refunded tickets will be released for sale.”
“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Drake and the team have had an incredible time performing and look forward to returning soon.”

ToggleFan Speculation and Ticket Controversy
Rumours of the cancellation had been swirling for days, with fans speculating about Drake’s departure from the country before the tour’s completion. Some Reddit users suggested that despite official reports of sold-out shows, tickets were still available up until recently.
“All the shows had tons of tickets left and then were randomly marked as unavailable,” one fan claimed. Another noted, “Even yesterday, there were at least 20 sections with available seats, and now they’ve all disappeared.”
Adding fuel to the speculation, The Courier Mail reported that Drake’s private jet was scheduled to leave Brisbane for Fiji this morning. However, it’s not uncommon for touring artists to take short breaks between performances, and with his next concert originally set for Tuesday, he would have had time to return.
A Controversial Australian Tour
Drake’s Australian tour has been anything but quiet, making headlines for reasons beyond his performances. From hotel drone controversies and concert delays to his on-stage nod to a local influencer feud, the rapper has kept audiences buzzing. His tour also unfolded under the backdrop of his ongoing beef with Kendrick Lamar, which escalated after Lamar took a jab at him during the Super Bowl halftime show earlier this month.
Drake’s Australian tour promoter, Live Nation, has yet to provide further comment on the rescheduled dates.
