Helicopter Crashes Minutes After Takeoff in Melbourne’s South-East Leaves One Injured

One person is hurt when a two-seater helicopter crashes at Moorabbin Airport in Melbourne’s south-east.

The Thursday event happened at 2:30 p.m., and emergency services reacted quickly. Victoria Police said one of the occupants had non-life-threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to The Alfred Hospital for treatment.

Data on flight monitoring from Flight Radar 24 reveals the chopper descended soon following takeoff.
There have been no more casualties recorded; the reason of the incident is under enquiry.
