End of an Era: Rebecca Judd Splits from Manager Lucy Mills After Two Decades

Rebecca Judd has announced a dramatic professional change, leaving her longtime manager Lucy Mills after more than 20 years. The AFL WAG and media star has signed with 22 Management, marking her first change of representation in more than 20 years.

Mills, who first signed Judd, 42, following her rise to national fame after wearing the iconic red dress at the 2004 Brownlow Medal alongside then-boyfriend Chris Judd, described the split as the “end of an era.”
“It all started in 2004 with that unforgettable Red Dress moment. We were fresh-faced, just starting out, and had no idea what an incredible journey lay ahead,” Mills shared on Instagram.
“Over the last 21 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with not just an incredible talent but also a dear friend. So many career highlights, and seven kids between us along the way!
“I’m so proud of everything we built together, @becjudd. Your friendship and loyalty mean the world to me.”
A Walk Down Memory Lane
Alongside her heartfelt message, Mills posted nostalgic photos of a young Judd, including a beachside snapshot of the pair.
Judd, who is now a renowned entrepreneur and media personality, recognised the achievement by repeating the tribute on her Instagram Stories.
“21 years!” That has to be a record for the industry. She wrote, “Thank you for everything, Lucy.”
A Multifaceted Career

Rebecca Judd is most known for her high-profile marriage to AFL veteran Chris Judd, but she has also established a successful career.She co-founded activewear label JAGGAD, co-owns Spray Aus, and has been a prominent television host, working on Nine’s Postcards and KIIS FM’s 3pm Pick-Up. She has also worked with big companies including Maybelline, MYER, Air Canada, Crown Resorts, and Land Rover.
Her new firm, 22 Management, commended her impact and adaptability in a statement welcoming her to the team.
“We are happy to welcome @becjudd to the 22 family!” a spokesperson announced.
“Bec is an accomplished TV presenter, designer, and entrepreneur with a strong digital presence. She has also made an impact in interior design and media, starring on The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition in 2023. Bec, a loving mother of four and spokesperson for the cancer charity Impatient Advocacy, continues to inspire.
Speaking out On Social Issues
Beyond her commercial and media activities, Judd continues to speak out on important social concerns. Last month, she publicly chastised Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan, claiming that the state’s updated bail regulations did not address child criminality. Shadow Attorney-General Michael O’Brien began the controversy by claiming that the proposed law fails to address juvenile criminals, a critical issue in Victoria’s ongoing crime crisis.
